Shot Mahindra’s XUV700 flagship SUV has been given additional features and a facelift in 2025 to strengthen and compete in the growing SUV market of India. Along with an updated look, the global XUV700 now incorporates modernised Mahindra’s updated styling and features to provide improved tech and safety. The new XUV700 SUV still maintains market dominance and adds to Mahindra’s 20% growth in the SUV segment for this year.
Design Tweaks and Feature Upgrades
The new and improved model now sports an updated chrome grille, new alloy wheels, and LED headlamps. Within the car, the interface now has a greater infotainment display, improved cabin layout, leather and soft touch materials, and better equipment and ventilated seats. In the top trims, the addition of a motorised tailgate and sliding seats for the second row has been added enhancing the car’s comfort.
Powertrain Options and Driving Experience
As with the previous model, the XUV700 comes with two engine options: 2.0L Turbo Petrol and 2.2L turbo diesel. Both of these can now be paired to a 6-speed automatic or 6-speed manual gearbox. All-wheel drive trims now come with better steering response in the diesel versions, improving highway tightness, and with the addition of speed adaptive suspension. Fuel economy also stays on the more attractive side, with the diesel version offering 17 kmpl.
Pricing and Variant Breakdown
The price of the XUV700 2025 ranges from the MX 7-seater petrol price of ₹14.49 lakh and goes up to ₹25.14 lakh for the AX7L Ebony AWD diesel. While on-road prices vary by city, Delhi’s prices are approximately ₹16.91 lakh and ₹29.12 lakh.
